Scott Windom Named Moe's Athlete of the Week

DAHLONEGA, GA – Scott Windom has been named the Moe's Southwest Grill North Georgia Athlete of the Week after averaging 19.0 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game as the Saints went 1-1 in Peach Belt Conference play.

The junior transfer from Cartersville, Georgia, continued to lead the Saints offensively, registering his fifth double-double of the year scoring 15 and grabbing 11 boards in 75-70 win over Armstrong.

Windom followed that up by scoring a game-high 23 points on 9-16 shooting from the field in a 66-60 loss against Flagler on Homecoming.

For the week Windom shot 14-30 from the floor (46 %) and 7-9 from the charity stripe.

Through January 30, Windom is fifth in the Peach Belt in scoring averaging 18.1 points per game and sixth in the conference in three-point shooting percentage (42.7%).

Windom and the rest of the Saints return to action on Wednesday, February 1, when they travel to Georgia Southwestern for the first of a two-game conference road trip.
