DAHLONEGA, GA – The North Georgia men's and women's soccer teams are set to host a Cancer Awareness Day on Wednesday, October 19, when the programs play host to Georgia Southwestern in a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader at the Soccer Complex.

Pink North Georgia t-shirts will be sold for $10.00 at the entrance to the complex with all the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation. Ticket revenues from the night will also be donated to find a cure for the deadly disease.

Single-game tickets are available the day of the game at the main entrance to the Soccer Complex. Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 students, and free to all North Georgia faculty and students with valid Saints Card. Children under 3 are admitted free.

North Georgia students enrolled in Loyal Blue can scan their Saints Card at the event with one in every 10 individuals receiving a free commemorative pink t-shirt courtesy of the official fan group of North Georgia athletics. The doubleheader will be worth three points for Loyal Blue members.

Aramark will be on hand to serve concessions to the fans, and the North Georgia Department of Athletics will provide free popcorn to the crowd.

The Wednesday evening doubleheader is slated to start with the women's game at 5:00 p.m., followed by the men's game under the lights at 7:30 p.m.

The Lady Saints are currently ranked No. 10 in the country and are one of just two teams in the country with perfect marks for the 2011 campaign. Currently riding a 10-game winning streak to open the year, North Georgia is off to their best start in school history and in the drivers seat to advance to their first-ever NCAA Tournament.

The North Georgia men's soccer team is currently .500 on the year at 5-5-1 and will be looking to get back on track following a 1-0 Peach Belt Conference loss to Flagler over the weekend at home.
