Saints Race Past Trojans, Run Winning Streak to Five

MOUNT OLIVE, NC - The North Georgia men's tennis team ran their winning streak to five on Tuesday afternoon as they cruised past Mount Olive 8-1 at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center.

The Saints (5-1) raced out to an early lead, sweeping doubles action for the second straight match, while Mount Olive (3-4) dropped their second home match of the season.

In doubles action, North Georgia dominated surrendering only 10 games. 

In singles action, the Saints won all five of their matches in straight sets. Felipe Friedrich, Mateus Camasmie, Rodrigo Magan and Matheus Guida all cruised to victories.

The Saints return to action on Saturday, when they open their Peach Belt Conference schedule, playing host to Georgia Southwestern. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
