DAHLONEGA, GA – The North Georgia men's tennis team got back to their winning ways on Thursday afternoon as they defeated Southern Indiana 6-3 at the North Georgia Tennis Complex.

The Saints (8-2) win their third straight home contest, while the loss snapped a seven game winning streak for the Eagles (10-2).

North Georgia got out of the gates quick taking two of three doubles matches in dramatic fashion. The duo of Felipe Friedrich/Mateus Camasmie cruised to an 8-5 victory, while Brandon Sloan/Giovani Santos won their match 8-6 at No. 3 doubles.

In singles action the Saints dominated winning four of the six matches. Friedrich and Matheus Guida won their matches in straight sets, while Camasmie and Sloan each rallied to win three-set thrillers.

The Saints return to the courts on Saturday, March 10, when they host Erskine in nonconference action.
