Marble named PBC Player of the Week again
Junior scored 71 points and grabbed 32 rebounds during week
DAHLONEGA, GA - North Georgia College and State University's Syretha Marble was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, announced this afternoon by the conference office. This is Marble's second weekly award in three weeks.
Marble picks up her second weekly award after a monster week that saw her average 23.7 points and 10.7 rebounds over three games. She began with her fifth 30-point game of the year with 10 rebounds and six steals against Georgia Southwestern.
Marble then had 26 points and 11 rebounds in a two-point loss to Clayton State, followed by 15 points and 11 boards against Augusta State. The junior shot 61% (25-41) from the field and even hit a couple of three-pointers.
She also averaged 3.7 steals and 2.3 assists per game. Marble leads the PBC in scoring and rebounding and is now fifth in field goal percentage and ninth in steals.
