Lady Saints Keep Busy on Day Off at PBC Tournament

EVANS, GA – The North Georgia women's soccer team stayed busy during their day off at the PBC Tournament as the Lady Saints prepare to play in the program's first-ever championship game Sunday afternoon at Blanchard Woods Park.

North Georgia made their way back to Blanchard Woods Park on Saturday morning to participate in the Peach Belt's annual Breakfast With the Champions, a free soccer clinic for the local area youth. The mini-clinic was run by the student-athletes of the four remaining teams in the tournament, and the Lady Saints stayed around following the event to sign autographs and take pictures with the children.

After lunch, the Lady Saints made their way to nearby Paine College where the North Georgia men's basketball team was putting the finishing touches on their preseason schedule with a scrimmage against the Lions.

Head coach Chris Adams and the Lady Saints will go through a brief stretch and run session this evening before dinner as the program prepares to face 2nd-seeded and 12th-ranked Columbus for the tournament title and an automatic bid to next week's NCAA Tournament. Sunday afternoon's Kickoff at the stadium field at Blanchard Woods Park is set for 1:00 p.m.
