DAHLONEGA, GA – After a huge Peach Belt Conference win over Lander on Saturday evening, the Lady Saints enter the final week of the regular season and hope could not be higher with just two games remaining on the schedule and postseason just around the corner.

North Georgia has a showdown with Armstrong Atlantic on Saturday with the Peach Belt Conference regular season championship on the line, but before the Lady Saints go head-to-head with the Pirates for the title, a non-conference tilt awaits against a regionally ranked opponent in Anderson University.

While the program's first-ever conference championship is well within reach, the Lady Saints have never appeared in the NCAA's and taking down Anderson would be another step towards claiming one of the top two spots in the upcoming national tournament.

Wednesday, October 26, 5:00 PM, vs. Anderson University, Dahlonega, GA

Anderson University Trojans Body of Work
Current Record: 9-7 (5-3 SAC)
Conference Rank: 3rd
Conference Prediction in 2011: 9th
Goal Differential in 2011: +3 (18-15)
Last Meeting (2010): North Georgia 3, Anderson 1

History of the Matchup – North Georgia has never lost to Anderson in the all-time history between the two schools, holding a 4-0 mark and outscoring the Trojans 10-1 along the way. Last season, the Lady Saints fell behind early and gave up a first-half goal to the Trojans, but North Georgia proved resilient on the road in the second half and rallied with three straight scores to emerge with a 3-1 victory and remain unbeaten against Anderson.

Keeping Streaks Alive – The Lady Saints have won three straight games since their only loss of the year at Columbus State, and are now off the program's best start in school history through the first 14 games at 13-1. North Georgia is perfect at home on the year at 7-0, and have outscored their opponents 20-5 at the Soccer Complex this season. The Lady Saints have been pretty impressive in non-conference games as well, going 5-0 with a 13-4 goal differential in those games.

Trojan Strikers – Just like many of the teams North Georgia has faced this year, Anderson has a pair of elite goal scorers patrolling the top with Jessica Kleinberg and Allie Waters scoring six goals apiece so far this season. Kleinberg has been the go-to striker with four game-winners and nearly twice as many shots on goal as any other player on the team. Kleinberg was an All-Conference performer two years ago and was named the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Player of the Week in September. Speaking of player of the week honors, Waters is the defending SAC Player of the Week after scoring three of her six goals on the year last week to lead the Trojans to a pair of league wins.

Bench Production – North Georgia head coach Chris Adams has had plenty of support coming off the bench the last two games with a trio of goals, including the game-winner against Georgia Southwestern. Leading the charge has been Caroline Wallace who has goals in back-to-back games for the first time this season and has proved to be the spark the Lady Saints have needed coming off the bench. Wallace has gotten the job done with minimal touches as well, scoring the two goals while recording just four shots.

Keeper Trio – In North Georgia's current three-game win-streak, the starting lineup has been nearly unchanged except for one position, the goalkeeper. The stopper has been different in all three games, with Kirsten Ross getting the win at Georgia College, Alex Dunlap picking up the victory against the Hurricanes and Taylor Fragnito shutting down Lander. While one of the best defenses in the southeast has been in tact for all three games, the Lady Saints can turn to any of their three keepers on the roster down the stretch.
