Lady Saints Stay Unbeaten with Road Win at Newberry

NEWBERRY, SC - The North Georgia women's tennis team won their fourth straight road contest on Monday afternoon defeating, Newberry College 6-3 at the Cannon Tennis Courts. 

The Lady Saints (4-0) are off the best start in program history, while the Wolves dropped their third straight home match. 

North Georgia continued their dominance in doubles action winning all three matches.

In singles action, Nela Handac won in straight sets, while Jordan Poole and Maria V Casseres Romero won three-set thrillers. 

For the second straight match Handac, Poole and Romero won both their singles and doubles matches.

The Lady Saints return to the courts on Wednesday, February 15, when they travel to Gainesville to taken on Brenau.
