The goal of this site is to provide our boosters, alumni, fans,
coaches, prospects and student-athletes information regarding the
rules and regulations of the NCAA. While not all inclusive, it is
meant to provide guidance in many of the situations you may
encounter and should help you avoid inadvertently violating NCAA
policies. Compliance of the rules and regulations is essential to
creating a winning environment for all of UNG's athletic teams.
It is the policy of UNG adhere to all applicable NCAA, Peach Belt Conference and University rules and regulations regarding the conduct of its athletics programs. It is the obligation and responsibility of UNG personnel and our supporters to act within the applicable rules and regulations at all times.

It is the responsibility of every individual associated with North
Georgia Athletics to be educated. If questions arise, we ask that
you contact our Compliance Office. Asking questions before
acting ensures that the eligibility of our department and our
student-athletes is not jeopardized.
ATHLETICS MISSION STATEMENT
Consistent with the University's mission, commitment and goals,
the UNG Intercollegiate Athletics Program is designed and committed
to fully accommodate the needs and interests of our
student-athletes in their pursuit of excellence and in their
preparation for meaningful lives and careers.
The University's dedication to excellence is an integral part of the Department of Athletics' goals and objectives and a primary consideration in our service to student-athletes and the University community. The Intercollegiate Athletics Program, as an integral part of UNG, strives to maintain a strong athletic program involving the most academically and athletically talented student-athletes in the context of the University's mission as a student-centered institution that nurtures a rewarding collegiate experience. The Department of Athletics is committed to providing an educational experience that promotes the development of the whole person intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. Through these offerings, the Department of Athletics will play a vital part in the personal formation and development of student-athletes, preparing them for leadership, citizenship and service in our society.
