Richard Pruett joined the University of North Georgia’s Strength and Conditioning staff in the spring of 2013.

A native of Gainesville, Ga., Pruett earned his bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Georgia State University in 2012 and holds certifications as a Health and Fitness Specialist from American College of Sports and Medicine (ACSM), a Functional Movement Specialist (FMS) and as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach from USA Weightlifting (USAW).

Prior to graduation, Pruett completed an internship with Athletes’ Performance as a Sport Performance Specialist. He began his coaching career as a student assistant for Georgia State’s inaugural football program in 2009 and for the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League from 2007-2008.
