DAHLONEGA, GA – Jordan Erisman has been named the Moe's Southwest Grill Athlete of the Week after hitting .462 at the Comfort Suites Classic in the opening weekend of the season for the Saints.

The senior from Lawrenceville, Georgia, set the pace for North Georgia in the leadoff spot getting hits to open each of their three contests, two of which were for extra bases.

Erisman opened the year with three consecutive multi-hit games, a feat he also accomplished last year in back-to-back series against Millersville and UNC Pembroke. For the weekend, he went  6-for-13 while belting three doubles, scoring four runs and making seven assists.

He opened his senior campaign with a 2-for-4 performance scoring a run and making one putout and four assists at the hot corner in a 14-2 loss to Saint Leo.

Erisman followed that up going 2-for-5 with two runs scored in an 8-3 victory over host Valdosta State.

Not to be outdone, he wrapped up the weekend going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and scoring the lone Saints run in a 10-1 loss to Lindenwood.

Erisman and the Saints return to the diamond this weekend, February 10-12, when they travel to Aiken, South Carolina to take part in the Carolina Outdoors Classic as they face Carson-Newman, Davis & Elkins and Peach Belt foe USC Aiken.
