North Georgia Soccer adds 14 new faces for 2008
Saints gear up for second season under Parris
DAHLONEGA, Ga. – North Georgia College
& State University’s men’s soccer coach Pat Parris
announced the signing of five transfers and nine freshmen that will
be joining the team for the 2008 season.
Seven midfielders, four defenders, a pair of forwards, and a
goalkeeper headline Parris’ second recruiting class since
taking over at North Georgia.
“I am looking forward to this class coming in and taking
part of something special here at North Georgia,” Parris said
of his recruiting class. “Each player coming in will have the
opportunity to build this program and will be expected to the put
the team ahead of themselves in order for us to be successful for
the 2008 season.”
Parris guided his squad to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament
final four in 2007, but has greater expectations this season.
“The 2008 squad is full of skill and are enthused about the
challenges that are waiting for them in our upcoming
season.”
