DAHLONEGA, GA – The nation’s No. 1 softball team rolled back into Dahlonega on Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m. with a police escort as the country’s only undefeated squad was greeted by a cheering crowd outside of Memorial Hall.

North Georgia, fresh off their second straight PBC Tournament Title, sit at 45-0 on the year and will make their way to the program’s third straight National Tournament appearance.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks as the NCAA will announce seeding and location for the 2010 Southeast Regional with the eight teams split into two four-team regionals with both winners facing off in a best two of three Super Regional series.
