UNG Women's Golf Tied For 15th After First Round Of Saint Leo Fall Invitational

SAINT LEO, Florida – (UNGAthletics.com) – After the first round of the Saint Leo University Fall Invitational, the University of North Georgia women's golf team rests in a tie for 15th place out of 18 teams with a first round score of 342 at Lake Jovita Country Club.  The Nighthawks are tied with the University of Tampa and stand five shots clear of Webber International.

Casey Truelove posted the low score for UNG with a nine-over par 81.  Carrilee Hiers and Mariana Pelaez carded identical 85's while Taylor Allen rounded out the first round scoring with a 91. 

Barry (Fla.) University stands atop the team leaderboard at the midway point with a team score of 296.  Flagler College's Maria Santacroce's one-under par 71 is good for a one-stroke individually.

The tournament's final round will tee off tomorrow morning.
