DAHLONEGA, GA – After leading the North Georgia women's soccer team to two more wins last week, standout forward Emily Dover has been named the Peach Belt Conference Offensive Players of the Week announced Tuesday afternoon from the league office.

The Canton, Georgia, native continues on one of the hottest tears in the league, scoring eight goals in the last seven games, including two more scores last week to extend her consecutive games scored streak to three games.

She scored the game-winner at Clayton State to open the week, and added an assist later in the contest to cap the 2-0 victory over the Lakers.

Against Carson-Newman over the weekend, Dover tallied the game's first goal in the 25th minute to catapult the Lady Saints to a 3-2 victory over the Eagles and keep North Georgia unbeaten at 9-0 on the season.

Dover is tied for the Peach Belt Conference lead with goals and tops the league outright with 19 total points. She also leads the PBC in game-winning scores with four, three of which have come in conference games.

With the outstanding play of Dover, the Lady Saints have been ranked No. 11 in the country for back-to-back weeks, and sit second in the latest region poll as the only undefeated team remaining in the southeast.

North Georgia will put their perfect mark on the line this weekend when they welcome Flagler College to town on Saturday afternoon for a Peach Belt Conference battle of the Saints. Kickoff is slated for 5:00 p.m. at the North Georgia Soccer Complex.
